Allow me to re-introduce myself.

It all started with a love for travel, of course! Throughout my life, I’ve been fascinated and inspired by how travel shapes us. This interest, coupled by an entrepreneurial spirit, led me to pursue a business degree at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I learned various sides of the hospitality industry working in hotel business.

I consider myself an opportunist, so when the chance arrived to teach English in Valencia, Spain, I took it! I had previously studied in Northern Spain, where I fell in love with the country and the idea of off the beaten path, immersive travel.

Summer of 2021, at the height of Covid’s variants, I had a feeling we were about to experience a huge boom in travel. I wondered how I could combine my love for travel and planning experiences when I discovered the model of a modern travel agency. I was fortunate enough to be employed by my now affiliate McCabe World Travel, who showed me the ropes of travel advising in their brick and mortar office in the DC metro area. Through this employment period I was afforded many opportunities to plan and execute a wide variety of itineraries, enhance my knowledge with regularly scheduled partner meetings, attend conferences and expositions, and visit many beautiful places on familiarization trips.

Fast forward to 2025, and I’m thrilled to announce the official launch of my travel agency, JSDestinations! Still affiliated with my host agency, McCabe World Travel, my clients will continue to enjoy all the exclusive perks and connections that come with booking through a Virtuoso agency.

This exciting new chapter was inspired by an international move to the UK, where I’ll be spending the next two years exploring every corner of this incredible country—with Europe just a short trip away. From uncovering the best hotels, sights, and restaurants to experiencing hidden gems firsthand, I can’t wait to share my discoveries.
